I just have a couple of things I want to mention to you today.
- If you didn’t make the baptisms on Sunday afternoon you missed an amazing time! We baptized 19 people who made the decision to take their next step and publically profess their faith in Jesus! I’m so proud of them and so thankful for the work that Jesus did on the cross that allows us to go from death to life in Him! After Sunday we have had the privilege of baptizing 121 people over the last 12 months! That blows my MIND but at the same time I really do believe that is just the beginning of what God desires to do as long as we stay faithful to His call and purpose for the Church! As we continue to invest…invite…serve and encourage people who are far from God I know we will continually be blown away by our God who does exceedingly and abundantly more than we can think or imagine!
- I’m really excited about our Christmas Eve service! We are going to have a great night of worship and a message that are centered around what God has done for us through Jesus! There is no greater gift that we could receive than the gift of a relationship with Christ and true life that is offered through Him! I ask that you would be praying about who you should invite that night and then take the step to extend the invitation. This Sunday we will have tear-off invitations attached our announcement cards to make it easy to make the invite! Please take one or two or three or however many you are willing to give out and get them in the hands of people you know could use the Good News of Jesus this Christmas! It’s time to GATA (Get After Them Aggressively) and let them know we care for them and more importantly, God cares for them and cares so much that He gave His Son so that we could be reconciled to Him! Remember…people will come to church on Christmas Eve when they will not come any other time. Take courage and take the step to invite someone to worship with us!
That’s all for today. Love you guys and love our church!
